Security measures to be ramped up in Central Village following quadruple killing
Security measures will be ramped up in Central Village, St. Catherine, following yesterday’s quadruple killing.
One of the deceased is said to have been an alleged leader of the “Jaggy Jaggy” gang, which has been operating in the community for some time.
The police have also theorized that the murders stemmed from an internal feud.
A 48-hour curfew was imposed in the community following the incident.
Head of the Constabulary’s Communication Unit Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay said the police will be ramping up security measures to ensure residents’ safety.
