A section of Main Street Ocho Rios in St. Ann was flooded this morning, following early morning rains.

Ocho Rios and the north coast in general have been experiencing rain since the weekend.

A number of businesses could not operate because of the flooding.

Owner of the Texaco gas station Gregory Chung says this is not the first time the area has flooded and it’s disruptive.

Mr. Chung says the drain in the area is not sufficient to carry the water.
