Roadblocks which were mounted by residents of Negril, Westmoreland this morning in protest over poor water supply have been cleared.

The residents used large trees, old appliances and other debris to block the Little London to Savanna-la-mar stretch of the roadway.

One returning resident said the lack of water has been a longstanding issue.
