Residents mounted several roadblocks in Brown’s Town St. Ann on Monday to register their frustration over a lack of water supply.

The roadblocks which included lit tyres, were mounted on roadways leading to Runaway Bay, Bamboo, and Discovery Bay.

A blockade has also been mounted at the Brown’s Town Community College.

Irie FM News understands that firefighters and police are on the scene trying to put out the fires and clear the roads.

Meantime, one business owner told our news team that his employees are unable to commute to work due to the roadblocks.

He noted, however, that the water situation has persisted for too long.
