Recommendations made by the Artificial Intelligence AI Task force are expected to help determine legislation to govern the use of AI in the country, with special focus on schools.

Minister of Digital Transformation Senator Dr. Dana Morris Dixon told IRIE FM News that the Task Force established last year, has until this summer to submit its report containing the recommendations.

Noting that AI is already in use in Jamaica, Senator Morris-Dixon said the recommendations will seek to enhance AI work already underway.
