The external and internal probes into the tragic death of Kingston Wharves Stevedore, Scot Bamburry, are not yet complete.

The ongoing probes are aimed at, among other things, determining what went wrong when Bamburry fell overboard a cargo ship while conducting his duties at the wharves, on July 12.

Corporate Services Manager at Kingston Wharves Simone Murdock said as it relates to the internal probe, the intention is to make the appropriate adjustments to the company’s occupational safety and security mechanisms, as necessary.

She said the external probe is being conduced by the Labour Ministry’s Factories Inspectorate Unit.

The unit will share its findings with the company upon completion of the probe.
