Prime Minister Andrew Holness says Jamaicans should view the Christmas Season as a time of giving and forgiveness. 

Mr. Holness was speaking at a house handover ceremony in St. Mary yesterday. 

He said with all the trauma Jamaicans endure throughout the year, it is important to free one’s heart and mind of pent-up negativity during the yuletide season. 

He pointed out that there could be implications, such as those linked to people’s health, if Jamaicans do not adopt an attitude of forgiveness. 

Prime Minister Holness also reiterated his administration’s commitment to doing what is necessary to facilitate peace of mind for Jamaicans.
