Popular music producer Noel Maitland to make bail application next month; Donna-Lee Donaldson’s family and supporters call for justice

No Justice, no peace”, are some of the chants from family members and supporters of slain social media personality Donna Lee Donaldson, who gathered outside the Kingston and St. Andrew parish court to protest on Friday (Sept 16).

The protest led by Donadson’s uncle Neil Lugg, comes after her boyfriend, policeman, and music producer, Noel Maitland, who is charged with her murder, was hauled before the court today.

24-year-old Donna-Lee Donaldson was reported missing on July 13, after she allegedly visited Maitland. Following investigations, the police believed that she was killed on July 12.

In August, the popular music producer was charged with the murder of missing social media influencer.

Noel Maitland, who is one of the founders of One Time Music, established in 2018, has maintained his innocence.

He’s to return to the Home Circuit court on October 4, when his bail application is set for mention.
