Four people were shot, two of them fatally, on Nelson Street in Admiral Town, Kingston, last night (October 28).

The deceased have been identified as 36-year-old Odine Moore, of Upper West Street, in Hannah Town, Kingston 12 and 48-year-old Andrew Johnson, of Benbow Street, in Kingston 12.

A male and female were wounded in the incident. Reports from the police are that about 8:45 PM, a group of people were at a birthday party, when gunmen approached them and opened fire hitting four persons.

The police were alerted, and they were taken to the hospital where Johnson and Moore were pronounced dead, and the others were treated and released.

The Denham Town criminal investigations branch is investigating.
