Police probe invasion of Black River High by a group of men

The St Elizabeth police are probing a reported invasion of the Black River High School, by several men, on Tuesday morning.

Reports are that sometime before 10:00 A.M., two students were involved in a dispute.

One of the students left the school compound following the incident.

Some time later, a group of men reportedly entered the school compound, sending teachers and students scampering.

The police were alerted and the men fled the scene.

Head of the St. Elizabeth police, acting Superintendent Coleridge Minto, said officers went to the school and spoke with the principal regarding the incident.
