20 Countries to compete in the Jamaica International Badminton Tournament
20 Countries are down to compete in the Jamaica International Badminton Tournament which will run from August 5 to 9, at the University of Technology Auditorium.
This five day tournament will see up to 20 countries participating alongside host Jamaica.
This include Portugal, The United States, Peru, Switzerland, Brazil, India, Poland, Malta, Egypt, France, Bermuda, Suriname and Bangladesh.
The second tournament is the Caribbean Badminton Championships schedule for August 9 to 18, also at the University of Technology Auditorium.
This US$10,000 International Series event is a major highlight of the inaugural “Smash Jamaica” summer badminton festival, running from August 5 through August 18, 2026.
This tournament will feature team events at the Junior and Senior levels as well as individual competition.
