PNPYO calls on government to fulfill promise of 10,000 housing solutions for young Jamaicans
President of the People’s National Party’s Youth Organization, Senator Gabriella Morris has called on Prime Minister Andrew Holness to fulfill the promise he made about providing $10,000 housing solutions for Jamaicans under the age of 35.
Speaking at the People’s National Party’s Bellefield Divisional conference, Senator Morris said she is yet to see one house constructed under this promise.
She noted that the recent solution by the government about the use of container houses, is a substitute for not providing the 10,000 houses for young people.
She says the young people of the country are demanding more.
Meantime, she noted that effort should also be made to include the young population in the ganja industry.
