PM says Gov’t sensitive to criticism that process for constitutional reform is not being transparent and participatory

Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the Government is sensitive to any criticism of the process for constitutional reform not being transparent and participatory.

He states that adjustments will be made as the process continues.

The Constitutional Reform Committee has been meeting to discuss the reform process and began public education with a town hall meeting held in St. James last week.

Mr. Holness in noting that there has been criticism of the process, structure and composition of the Committee, says there has been expanded participation.

He says timelines have been set to achieve certain goals.

The Prime Minister says he wants Jamaicans to be satisfied with the reform process.

He states that he does not want the process to be derailed.
