The new school year began yesterday (September 5), and many students ventured out for face-to-face classes.

However, as students make their way back to school, some parents and guardians are concerned, about their children’s safety.

This fear is primarily, driven by the fact, that when face-to-face classes resumed earlier this year, there was an uptick in violent attacks amongst students, some of them fatal.

There were also fights between teachers and pupils.

So what is being done to ensure safety in schools this academic year?
