Opposition Senator urges Gov’t to listen to issues affecting public sector workers
Opposition Senator Lambert Brown is urging the Government to listen to the issues affecting the nation’s public sector workers.
This, as several groups continue to express their disgruntlement with their new salaries under the restructured compensation program.
Speaking at today’s (March 31) sitting of the Upper House, Senator Brown noted that Government needs to do more to fix the wage issues affecting the country.
He said Government should also listen to those who have called for better salaries for public sector workers.
Senator Brown also reiterated the call for an increase in the P.A.Y.E thresh-hold.
