Classes at the Exchange All Age School, in Ocho Rios, St Ann, will be held online for a second consecutive day, today, following a freak storm at the school on Wednesday.

The incident resulted in severe damage to power lines and a section of the roof of the grade 2 block.

Speaking with IRIE FM News Principal of the institution Ricardo Moncrieffe said clean up activity was done Wednesday and Thursday.

He said the damaged electrical wires are yet to be replaced and repair works will continue over the weekend.

It is hoped that face to face classes will resume next Monday.

Mr. Moncrieffe said students traumatised by the freak storm are being offered counselling.

He commended the staff for responding quickly to the incident.
