NWC dismisses claims about entity’s ability to treat water supplied to customers
The National Water Commission, N-W-C, is dismissing as baseless claims about its capacity to treat water being supplied to customers.
In a statement released yesterday (October 20), N-W-C said a message that has been circulating on social media about the availability of materials to treat water from the company, is malicious and dangerously misleading.
The company said there is absolutely no truth to the suggestion that there is inadequate supply to treat water that is produced and distributed by the N-W-C.
The commission said there is sufficient material to treat water and that the company is ensuring the water is of the highest quality in keeping with both local and international standards.
The commission urged persons to desist from circulating the message as it is not in the national interest and can cause unnecessary panic.
