The National Works Agency (NWA) has deployed personnel to remove a downed tree which is blocking the Junction main road in St. Mary. 

The fallen tree was reportedly a result of a landslide this morning. 

NWA’s Communication Officer, Natalie Bloomfield says the road has been reduced to single-lane access, as the agency’s contractor continues to clear the blockade. 

Ms. Bloomfield also notes that the Jamaica Public Service has also been informed of the incident, which impacted utility poles in the area.
