Former  WBA  featherweight  champion  Nicholas  ‘Axeman  Walters  returns  to  the  ring  this weekend after  a  six  year  layoff.

The  37  year  old  who  challenged  for  the  WBO  Junior Lightweight  title  back  in  2016, when  he  suffered  his  first  professional  defeat  will  take  on  29  year  old  Colombian  Luis Diaz Marmol  in  Santa  Marta  Colombia  a  8  round super lightweight  bout

Walters enters  tomorrow’s  contest  with  a  26-1-1  record  ……….21  of  his  wins  coming  via  knockout.

His    Opponent holds a record  of    19 wins…….11  via  knockout  and  16  losses.

Walters  suffered  his  only  professional  defeat  against   Vasyl Lomachenko   on November 26, 2016  in Las  Vegas.
