The Manchester police are probing the alleged robbery and rape of two women at a bar in Kingsland, on Sunday.

Reports are that about 2:00 A.M. men entered the bar and held the bartender and another woman at gunpoint.

The gunmen reportedly robbed the bartender of an undetermined sum of cash and $65,000 from the other woman.

Three poker boxes were also stolen.

It’s further reported that the gunmen raped them.

The men then escaped.

The police were summoned and an investigation launched.

In light of the incident, the police are warning bar owners and operators, to comply with the spirit licence act which outlines the opening and closing hours of the establishments.
