Leon Baileys family escapes crash with minor injury
Jamaican international striker Leon Bailey is today breathing a sigh of relief and thankful that several members of his family including his son are alive.
Bailey was with the reggae boyz team ahead of the Concacaf nations league match up, against Suriname on Tuesday, when he got the news that the vehicle carrying his son, his child’s mother and two other members of his family overturned on the way to St Ann.
All four passengers escaped with minor injuries, this according to Stephanie Hope, Bailey’s common law wife, who confirmed the incident on her Instagram story last evening.
Following the news of the accident Bailey was able to take the field as a second half substitute in Jamaica’s 3-1 win over Suriname.
