Justice Minister Delroy Chuck urges churches to get off sidelines and join in fight against criminality
Justice Minister Delroy Chuck has urged churches to get off the sidelines and proactively join in the fight against criminality.
Speaking yesterday at the Bull Savannah Church of God in St Elizabeth, Mr Chuck said partnerships are necessary to improve the quality of life of the Jamaican people.
Mr Chuck noted that Justices of the Peace also have a role to play while urging them to partner with the churches and police stations in St. Elizabeth.
He said JPs can help bridge the gap between police and citizens.
Mr Chuck said Jamaicans deserve to live in peace and harmony within their communities.
