The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has made several internal political changes, as it seeks to further strengthen its organizational structure.

During the party’s Central Executive Meeting on Sunday, General Secretary Dr. Horace Chang, announced that Homer Davis and Audley Gordon resigned from the post of Deputy General Secretary.

He said the Central Executive voted in favour of Senators Charles Sinclair and Delroy Williams being elected as the new Deputy General Secretaries.

Dr. Chang also noted that Senator Aubyn Hill resigned as party treasurer.

The Central Executive voted in favour of Daryl Vaz being appointed in that role.

Meanwhile, Robert Morgan resigned as Chairman of the Party’s Public Relations Committee.

Party leader Andrew Holness advised that a Public Relations Council is to be established to lead the Party’s communication efforts.

Members of the council will be revealed at a later date.
