Jamaicans Brandon King and Fabian Allen will feature for the new Caribbean Premier League franchise the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.
They are among 12 players unveiled yesterday by the franchise along with the Pakistan trio of Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim and Fakhar Zaman along with allrounders Chris Green and Azmatullah Omar-zai for the upcoming season of the league which gets underway on August 29 in Antigua.
The new franchise replaced three-time champions Jamaica Tallawahs after the owner disbanded the team stating that it was unsustainable to run it…………….the Falcons will play their home games at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
Brandon King and Fabian Allen are joined in the squad by Hayden Walsh and Shamar Springer………….they have five more spots to fill at the CPL draft, which will take place in July.
The current squad is Imad Wasim, Brandon King, Fabian Allen, Azmatullah Omar-zai, Mohammad Amir, Chris green, Fakhar Zaman, Hayden Walsh, Shamar Springer, Kelvin Pitman, Jewel Andrew and Joshua James.
The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons will face the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in their opening CPL game on August 29 at the Sir Vaivian richards stadium.
