Jamaica Paralympic Association gets refurbished multi-purpose court

The Jamaica Paralympics Association earlier this week got a significant boost to aid in the preparation and training of national athletes, thanks to corporate tele-communication giant Digicel.

This after the association received a newly refurbished multi purpose court at the Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre in St Andrew last night.

The court fell into disrepair in recent times and Digicel stepped in to revive the facilities with adequate seating to the tune of over just a million dollars.

Technical Director of the Jamaica Paralympic association Neville Sinclair told Irie Fm sports that he is appreciative of this latest initiative.

Meanwhile, President of the Jamaica Paralympics Association and Jamaica Olympic Association boss Christopher Samuda explained that the court is the perfect springboard to help the respective local teams prepare for regional competitions.
