ITA urges police to ramp up road safety efforts especially as schools set to reopen tomorrow
Director of the Island Traffic Authority Kenute Hare is urging the police to ramp up road safety activities, especially as schools set to re-open tomorrow (January 9).
Mr. Hare made the appeal during the St. Catherine South Police Division’s virtual town hall meeting, this afternoon (January 8).
Noting that far too many people are killed in road crashes, Mr. Hare said efforts should be made to ensure that children are protected on the nation’s roadways.
