A high-profile meeting will be held today in a bid to quell a feud involving students of various corporate area schools.

Two male students of the Calabar and Mona High Schools and a female student of the Queen’s School are at the centre of the conflict.

Students of at least three other schools are also involved in the feud which has left a student of Calabar High with stab wounds.

Speaking with IRIE FM news, Head of the St. Andrew Central Police Senior Superintendent Marlon Nesbeth said the conflict began last week.

He said lawmen will be deployed to areas where students usually converge in order to prevent further altercation.

SSP Nesbeth expressed hope that today’s meeting with various stakeholders will be fruitful.
