Government is still seeking a suitable contractor for the construction of the new Parliament building.

Finance Minister Dr Nigel Clarke gave the update during yesterday’s Standing Finance Committee meeting.

Government had promised that ground would have been broken for the project last year.

But Dr Clarke said the process encountered some challenges.

Dr Clarke stressed the importance of following protocols, through to construction.
