A foreign national is among six people arrested by police, in relation to a weapon seizure in Bull Bay, in the Kingston Eastern Division early this morning.

Reports are that the six were travelling in a Toyota Probox motor car that was intercepted by the police along the St. Thomas main road.

A search of the vehicle revealed the Arcus 9 millimeter pistol and two 9 millimeter rounds of ammunition.

Investigators are sifting through evidence as they try to determine whether the gun seized and the persons arrested are connected to a shooting incident that occurred earlier in Cane River in the division.
