Elaine Thompson-Herah not showing on start list at Bermuda Grand Prix

Five-time Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah will not be in attendance at the USATF Bermuda Grand Prix at the Flora Duffy Stadium in Bermuda on Sunday.

The fastest woman alive is not showing on the start-list for the 100m or 200m events, despite earlier being acknowledged as one of the star attractions for the event.

However national junior record holder Alana Reid and Kemba Nelson are listed for the women’s 100m while Ashanti Moore is the lone Jamaican on the start-list for the women’s 200m.

Meanwhile, under-20 world record holder Jaydon Hibbert will open his season at the event where he will be joined by his compatriot Jordan Scott in the men’s triple jump while Chanice Porter and Tissana Hickling will compete in the women’s long jump.

Kadrian Goldson is down to run in the men’s 100m, the men’s 110m hurdles features Damian Thomas with Yanique Thompson and Crystal Morrison in the women’s 100m hurdles.

Also down to compete are Jaheel Hyde and Demish Gaye in the men’s 400m with the women’s equivalent including Stacy-Ann Williams, Ruschel Clayton and Junelle Bromfield. Shian Salmon and Sanique Walker in the women’s 400m hurdles.
