The Child Protection and Family Services Agency, (CPFSA) will be categorizing all 45 government run and private children’s homes, based on the needs of the children in state care.

Chief Executive Officer of the CPFSA, Mrs. Laurette Adams-Thomas said this initiative is one of several aimed at improving the efficiency of the organization.

Consequently, the quality of service that the agency provides will also be boosted.

Mrs. Adams-Thomas said the CPFSA’s focus is on streamlining operations and services, to ensure a level of care, support and security for children, that is in line with international best practices.
