The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) says no body-worn camera was issued to, or worn by, the police officers who conducted crowd control duties during the Granville Square protest, when Lotoya Bulgin was fatally shot.45-year-old Bulgin, more popularly known as "Buju", was fatally shot yesterday afternoon.The incident was captured on a closed-circuit television camera, and the video footage has gone viral on social media.

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company Limited (JUTC) says effective Wednesday, May 20, it will reduce the frequency of its Ocho Rios service in response to concerns raised by public passenger vehicle (PPV) operators.The JUTC says the adjustment forms part of its continued commitment to stakeholder engagement and responsible service planning.

Taxi operators who ply the route from Spauldings to Victoria in Clarendon have withdrawn their service and mounted road blocks at Sunbury to protest the poor state of the road.

Culture and Sports Minister Olivia Grange says this year's Labour Day will focus on the restoration of sports, early childhood and community facilities. The focus was selected in the context of Hurricane Melissa which affected Jamaica last October.
