The Bursar of Hopewell High School in Hanover was shot and killed at the school’s gate, yesterday. 

He is 35-year-old Jermaine Roberts of Pitfour in St. James. 

Police say at around 3:55 p-m, Roberts was leaving the school when he was pounced upon by a gunman who opened fire hitting him. 

The police were called to the scene and Roberts was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

Investigations are ongoing.
