According to the latest crime data from the Jamaica Constabulary Force, 210 murders were recorded as at Sunday, March 5.

 

This is 55 fewer than the 265 recorded in the same period last year.

 

All divisions recorded murders, with St. James leading the tally with 28, followed by Kingston western with 22.

Meanwhile, there were also declines in rapes, robberies, and break-ins.

 

Cases of rape declined by 51 from 98 to 47.

 

Robberies went down by 58, from 177 to 119, while break-ins decreased by 19 from 171 to 152.
