Producer Anju Blaxx is putting Dancehall artist Yaksta on blast, accusing him of failing to pay for nine songs he mixed on his album.
In a post on his verified Instagram account, Anju Blaxx wrote, “I need my payments for the nine songs mi mix. Yuh cyaa a sing conscious songs and have corruption inna yuh heart, yute @yaksta.”
The producer further revealed that he has been waiting for two years with no response and even accused Yaksta of unfollowing him on social media after he confronted him about his money, publishing rights, and interest in the album.
In his lengthy post, Anju Blaxx urged Yaksta to make sure all producers and contributors on the album get paid.
Yaksta has since reposted Anju Blaxx’s plight in his IG story.
However, when contacted by Music News, Yaksta said he will release a video addressing the issue.
Production credits for Yaksta’s debut album 22 include Anju Blaxx, Usain Bolt, Dre Day, Marlon Easy, Wuss Muzik, Demarco, TipGod Music, Dj Lank, and EP Records.
