Jamaica’s Reggae Girls have dropped 3 spots to number 40 on the latest FIFA Coca Cola World rankings.

The revelation which follows the teams failure to qualify for the inaugural Concacaf Gold Cup sees the Reggae Girls as the 4th highest placed team in the region behind the United States  who  moves  up  one  place  to  be    ranked  at  number  two,  Canada  at  number  10   and Mexico  up  one  place  at  number  35

Reigning World champions Spain  is  the  number  one  ranked  team  in  the  world  for  the  first  time, becoming   the fourth team in football history to reach the coveted position.

The USA  at  number  two  and  France  up  two  places  to  number  3  complete  the  podium,  with England   at  number  four  and  Sweden  after  dropping  four  places  complete  the  top  five

The rest of the top 10 is completed by Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, Korea Republic and Canada.

The next Fifa/Coca-Cola Women’s World ranking will be published in March 2024.
