Young Jamaican racer Alex Powell will start on pole in race one at this weekend’s second meet of the 2024 formula 4 season……the F4 United Arab Emirates Championship.

It comes after sensational performances during qualifying where he finished first in q1.

Powell who is in his debut season……later qualified p4 in q2 and will start race 3 in that position.

The two-day event gets underway tomorrow and runs until Sunday at the YAS Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Powell who opened his season last week is driving for Italian outfit ‘Prema racing’ under the Mumbai falcons racing banner.

The season meanwhile concludes on February 18.
