At least four people were murdered across the island between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

Two of the incidents occurred in Old Harbour, St Catherine and one in St. Ann.

In the latest incident, the bodies of a male and a female were found at a house in Old Harbour at around 10:40 this morning.

Their names have not been released.

Police report that residents heard explosions and summoned them.

On the arrival of the lawmen, the bodies were found in a bed in the house.

They had wounds to the upper bodies.

In the second incident at about 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, a fisherman was shot and killed at the Old Harbour Bay fishing village in St Catherine.

He is forty-nine-year-old Rohan Kepple otherwise called ‘Kanie’ or ‘Ballie’, of East Bay Drive, Old Harbour Bay, St. Catherine.

Police report that residents heard explosions and alerted them.

The lawmen say a police team on patrol, went to investigate and found Kepple’s body with gunshot wounds to the upper body.

And in the third incident, a St Ann man was stabbed to death at his home in Ocho Rios, on Saturday.

Dead is Peter James, otherwise called ‘Coppa’ .

Police report that sometime after 7:00 a.m., James and another man got into an argument, when James allegedly took a stone and hit the other man to the head causing a wound.

It’s reported that the man then took a knife and stabbed James to the chest.

The police were summoned and both men were taken to the hospital where James succumbed and the other man treated and released into police custody.

The name of the other man is being withheld pending further investigations.
