Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says the government will advance the process to formally establish job descriptions for parliamentarians.

He gave the commitment while addressing the opening of the new parliamentary term yesterday.

The prime minster noted that the job description will make clear, what the public rightly expects elected representatives to do.

He says it will also create a framework to measure performance, improve accountability and strengthen public trust in institutions.
