The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has promised to implement a national regulatory reminder system if it should regain stewardship of the country after the September 3 General Election.

In its manifesto released yesterday, the JLP says that there will be short message service (SMS) and email alert systems to remind persons and businesses before the expiration of licenses and permits.

The JLP states that this will allow persons to make the necessary preparations for renewal.
