Jamaican students who sat this year’s Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) exams, performed better in Mathematics and English A.

Education Minister Dr. Dana Morris Dixon made the revelation during a press conference, this morning.

According to the Minister 85 percent of Jamaican students passed English a in comparison to 76 percent last year.

She said for Mathematics 44 percent of students secured passes in comparison to 39 percent last year.
