The Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) is stepping up its efforts to regulate the rapidly expanding online gaming sector, as more young Jamaicans become involved.

Executive Director, Vitus Evans said the Commission recognizes a major shift in the gaming industry, with online platforms increasingly attracting younger players.

He emphasized that the Commission is closely monitoring how gaming companies operate, ensuring that all online gaming sites are registered and licensed.
