No tolling on Long Hill bypass in St. James until a suitable alternative road is developed – NROCC
Motorists will not be required to pay tolls on the Long Hill bypass in St. James until a suitable alternative road is developed.
That’s according to chairman of the National Road Operating and Constructing Company (NROCC) Stephen Edwards, and Member of Parliament for St. James Southern, Homer Davis.
They were responding to concerns raised by residents and other stakeholders, including president of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Oral Heaven.
During a community meeting at the Mount Carey Baptist church last evening, Edwards and Davis explained why the road will be toll-free, for now.
