A search has been launched for six young girls who went missing from the State-run, Homestead Place of Safety in Stony Hill, St. Andrew yesterday.
The missing Wards have been identified as 17-year-old Ashley Wilson, 15-year-olds Nicola Martin, Gilisa Spence and Shanique Todd as well as 14-year-olds Jada Nephew and Oshana Sinclair.
Commanding Officer for the St. Andrew North Police, Superintendent Sherika Service told IRIE FM news that at about 3:15 AM, checks were being made around the facility when it was discovered that the girls were missing.
