Prime Minister Andrew Holness has assured that the work of the government will continue, amidst campaigning for the Local Government Election which is set for February 26.

Mr. Holness who is also the Leader of the Jamaica Labour Party made the comment yesterday, at the ceremony to connect the Eden Water Supply in Mocho, Clarendon.

He stressed that the event is not a campaign ploy.

The Prime Minister said if there was no election he would still be at these events which signify that the government is responding to the needs of Jamaicans.
