Replacement being sought for Rosalee Gage Grey who has been terminated as head of CPFSA
Minister of Education and Youth, Fayval Williams has confirmed that a replacement is being sought for Rosalee Gage Grey, whose service has been terminated as head of the Child Protection and Family Services Agency, CPFSA.
Last month, Mrs. Gage Grey was asked to step aside for the time being, to facilitate investigations into how the agency handled its relationship with the head of a United States charity organization.
The matter relates to a report from the Office of the Children’s Advocate on allegations of abuse connected to the operator of a transitional home for girls who had been accused of inappropriate behaviour by US authorities.
Several advocacy groups had also called for Mrs. Gage Grey to be fired.
Speaking with Irie FM News yesterday, Mrs. Williams confirmed that Mrs. Gage grey’s service has ended and the ministry is seeking to replace her.
