Three men killed in separate road crashes in St. Elizabeth and Hanover
Three men were killed in two separate crashes, in St. Elizabeth and Hanover between last night (September 10) and this morning (September 11).
Dead are thirty-eight-year-old Tristan Gardener of Sandy Bay, Hanover, and two men who have not yet been identified.
The latest incident occurred along the content main road in St. Elizabeth, this morning.
Reports are that about 4:45 a.m., two men were travelling on a motor cycle from Santa Cruz; when upon reaching a section of the roadway the motor cycle collided with a BMW motorcar that was travelling in the opposite direction.
The two men were taken to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Meantime, Gardener died as a result of injuries he sustained during a motor vehicle collision on the point main road in Hanover, last night.
Reports from the Lucea police are that about 11:20 p.m., Gardener was driving his motorcycle along the road, when upon reaching a section of the roadway, he allegedly lost control of the motor bike and crashed into a vehicle that was attempting to turn onto the main road.
Gardner was pronounced dead at hospital.
The police are investigating both incidents.
