The police are looking at forensic evidence and collaborating with the business community in Half Way Tree St. Andrew, as they seek to nab those responsible for the killing of a bearer yesterday.

68-year-old Lawrence Kessna of seaview gardens was shot dead by a gunman who attempted to rob him as he left a bank.

Reports are that Kessna, who worked for a financial company, encashed a cheque, valued at 10 million dollars.  

Further reports are that Kessna was pounced upon by a man who tried to relieve him of the knapsack containing the money.

When that attempt failed, the man opened gunfire hitting Kessna in the upper body, killing him.

The attacker escaped on a waiting motorcycle. 

The knapsack was handed over to the police.
