Dr. Bennett to return unopposed as JCA President
Dr. Donovan Bennett is set to serve a second consecutive term as President of the Jamaica Cricket Association.
This as he will be unopposed when elections are held at the annual general meeting on May 28 at the Kingston Cricket Club.
There were no challengers for Dr. Bennett at the close of the nomination process at midnight on May 14.
First Vice President Fritz Harris will be challenged by former West Indies spinner Nehemiah Perry, while 2nd Vice-President Peter Douglas will return unopposed.
Honorary Secretary Laurence Garriques faces a challenge from Anthony Davis while Randy Nelson challenges Keith Walford for the assistant Honorary Secretary position.
Honorary treasurer Kerry Scott faces Hopeton Morrison for that post and the race for assistant Honorary treasurer, will see the incumbent Michael Atterbury being challenged by Ian Spencer.
