World Athletics President Sebastian Coe visits Jamaica this week

World Athletics President Sebastian Coe will pay an official three day visit to Jamaica, along with World Athletics Director -Helen Delaney. who arrived last night. 

Coe and other members of his delegation will land in Kingston on Sunday afternoon, before attending a breakfast meeting with members of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) at the Pegasus Hotel. 

The  visit  largely  surrounds  World  Athletics  effort  to  provide  support  for  Jamaica’s  recovery  from  the  devastation  suffered  from  Hurricane  Melissa  in  October. 

The World Athletics President will Journey to Montego Bay  on Tuesday  accompanied  by members  of  the JAAA Executive. 

He  will meet the local media on Wednesday morning January 6 at the the JAAA board room in Kingston, before he leaves the island on Wednesday afternoon.
